Owning a horse is a big financial as well as emotional responsibility. Many of our clients choose the ELS "Partner-Lease" program before they buy a horse or as they begin the process of horse ownership. This program encourages clients to experience horse ownership in a safe educational & fun environment.

The Purchase Price, Board, Tack & Equipment selection and Lessons can quickly become financially overwhelming. What once was a dream can quickly become a night “mare.” ELS would like to help you reduce this risk. If an equine Partner does not work out, you are able to choose another Partner that may meet your goals.

Why Lease?
If you are considering buying a horse, but are unsure which breed, size, disposition is right for you.
If you would like to own a horse, but don't have the time to care for one on a regular basis.
If you enjoy riding, but can't afford to buy your own horse.
If you love to ride and would like a consistent lesson horse.
If you want to know what is involved in taking care of a horse before you buy.
If you travel a lot and need to stay flexible.

What Does a Lease Cover?
ELS covers the maintenance of the horse: shoes, worming, shots & routine health care. ELS provides standard equipment needed to ride the horse which may be available for purchase with the horse.

What Is Not Covered?
ELS does not cover Vet care due to an accident involving the Lease-Partner.

What If My Partner Is Not Right For Me?
ELS will always act in the horse’s best interest. Every attempt will be made to find a better match and work with you to ensure satisfaction.

What Happens if Someone Wants to Buy the Partner I am Leasing?
ELS will ensure you have the first opportunity to purchase the horse, however, we ask that you understand how important it is to us that the horse has a chance to go to a permanent life-time Partner.

What Are Other Benefits of This Program?
ELS offers this program to help with the following:
